Avalon Studios: A look at its strategies of growth and expansion

In an effort to support Wellington’s film hub, Lower Hutt’s Avalan Studio is planning for a major expansion.

Avalon studios is envisioning to grow after a series of bursts of short-term last year where more than 180 employees work as Ghost in the Shell and Dragon.

According to the management, the company will build several new sound strategies and facilities in an effort to attract future work.

“I think we would need some assistance to get that sort of support at Avalon but we haven’t gone fully down that road yet. “We will see if there is levels of interest available that can help us make it happen and bring economic benefits to the region.

“There is a perception that Avalon is closed we want to say we are still here and working hard to bring more work.”

There were controversial statements last year over the studio’s growth process when Avalon asked Hutt City for $150000 for upgrade process but the idea was turned down by the management of TVNZ process.

After the expansion, the studio envisions to have a ‘customer line up’ which will see the company growing to the next successful level.
