President Obama has apparently requested for the first few episodes of Game of Thrones from the directors. The POTUS attended the premiere of the drama series and after the show approached the producers David Benioff and Dan Weiss to ask if he could receive the first few episodes.

The two directors were more than excited from the requesting showing how much the show is on demand. "When the commander-in-chief says, 'I want to see advanced episodes,' what are you gonna do?" said David Benioff.

The two view this as one of their greatest achievements in the making of the show. They say it is not every day you get such a request. "I think, for both of us, finding out the President wanted advanced copies of the episodes was an 'ah-ha' moment," said Dan Weiss on his Facebook page.

This is not the first time President Obama has inquired about the show. After the end of season five, he contacted the directors again asking if Jon Snow was actually dead. The producers confirmed to him, then that the famous character was actually dead. Like many of the show's fans, he did not believe it and even asked the same question to David Benioff and Dan Weiss at the premier.

The Game of Thrones season six is set to start on HBO by the end of April. But unlike the rest of the fans show President Obama will have already watched a few episodes.
