President Obama, never one to get his words twisted came out and criticized both the presidential candidates and journalists in a ceremony in honor of Robin Toner, who passed on in 2008. He said the political atmosphere has become a circus, but saying he wouldn't call it a circus because that would imply it is a fun environment.

He says the US is becoming a major concern all over the world. He says leaders from all over the world always ask him what is happening in The US political scene, as they believe the super power plays a major role in the world's economy, and its collapse would mean the collapse of every other economy.

"The No. 1 question I'm getting as I travel around the world or talk to world leaders right now is, 'What is happening in America about our politics?', " said Obama. "They care about America, the most powerful nation on earth, functioning efficiently and its government being able to make sound decisions."

Obama also touched on Trump, an aspirant who he has publicly condemned for making racist and women belittling comments in the past. He says that the media is partly to blame for his utterances as they air such vulgar opinions and promises. He says that the media should invest in investigating political claims and their track records and not rely on the digital media. Saying that, investigative journalism should be the first source of information and not the Twitter feed. This will give an accurate picture of what the candidate is about helping the voter make a wise decision.
