Nintendo has struggled for years against other gaming consoles such as the Xbox and PlayStation. However, they will always be applauded for bringing to life one of the most iconic characters in Super Mario.

The company has revamped the iconic character into a smartphone character calling the new game Super Mario Run.

The concept is terribly obvious with a one button control module. Nintendo creator and developer Shigeru Miyamoto said that making the game easy to control will ensure even novice gamers and the new generation who are not familiar with Mario can play along.

Nintendo has decided to concentrate more on Smartphone games after the success they saw with Pokmon Go. It broke download records worldwide.

The success of the game is due in large part to the nostalgic familiarity of the characters. They hope to achieve a similar feat with Mario which was by far their most popular character.

"We found an excellent way to make an accessible Mario game and bring it to the iPhone and reach a lot of people, " Miyamoto said. "That's when we decided to make Super Mario Run. I felt that if I want Mario to continue to survive as a character. Mario needs to evolve with technology and video games."

Super Mario Run has quickly become one of the most anticipated games of the year. It will be launched first on Apple devices before being put up on the Google app store next year. The play requires the gamer only to make Mario jump with him constantly on the run.
